Every application we publish began as a problem worth solving.
Origin
Billes App Co Inc. started with personal projects. The founder, or someone in his immediate circle — family, friends, the people closest to him — had a problem, the available solutions fell short, and rather than settle, we built something better.
Those problems turned out not to be unique. The same frustrations we were solving at home were shared by a much wider group of people, and the tools we had built for ourselves were worth putting in front of them.
Our approach
Taking a personal tool to market means holding it to a different standard. We refine the design, tighten the underlying logic, and test each product against daily use rather than a feature list.
The benchmark is simple and unchanged: we only release software we would want to use ourselves, every day, without compromise. When a product meets that bar, we publish it to the App Store so anyone facing the same problem can use it too.
What we are not
We are not an agency. There are no clients, no contracts, and no custom development work. Our attention goes entirely to our own catalogue and the people who use it.
That independence is the point. It is what allows us to build the tool that actually does the job, instead of the one that almost does.
